A very big thank you to all of the 18 volunteers who picked up A LOT of rubbish from our verges, ditches, footpaths, play park and roadsides this afternoon. We managed to finish the work just before the rain came down – perfect timing for the thank you tea/ coffee & cake! Many thanks to our wonderful hostess and all the cake makers too. Lovely to see returning pickers and new faces too. Hopefully see you all again for the autumn pick.. If anyone would like to do an ad hoc pick, we have bags, bag hoops and pickers that we can lend to you. Message this page if you would like to borrow the kit.
