Annual Bike Ride and BBQ 13th May 2018

What a great turnout today, in glorious weather! It was lovely to see such a wide range of ages, cycling experience and bikes on the ride today. No-one is ever left behind!! Then a very well supported social get together on the green – with everyone amply fed and watered by the BBQ crew cooking excellent local butcher’s sausages and burgers, and the tea & cake stall stalwarts serving drinks and some delicious cakes, brownies, muffins, home-made fudge and tray bakes. Many thanks to everyone who organised the event, setting out the furniture, planning the ‘off-road’ route with the kind permission of local farmers, advertising, baking, serving, supporting and making the afternoon such a success.
